Wer wir sind
Seit der Gründung 2014 ist Progressive English als noch relativ junges Unternehmen bestrebt „Ihr Englisch gezielt und nachhaltig zu verbessern“. Es ist mein Ziel, dass wir ein „junges Unternehmen“ bleiben, selbst wenn wir irgendwann 30 Jahre dabei sind, denn ich betrachte dies als eine enorme Stärke. Junge Unternehmen sind Entschlossen, haben den Ehrgeiz und die Leidenschaft, etwas Besseres als je zuvor zu tun, um sich ständig zu verbessern. Das sind Eigenschaften, die ich niemals aufgeben möchte.
Zurzeit haben wir zehn englischsprachige Lehrer/innen (ausschliesslich englische Muttersprachler) mit Cambridge- Universitätszertifizierung, um Englisch als Zweitsprache zu unterrichten. Alle Lehrer/innen wurden sorgfältig ausgewählt, nicht nur aufgrund ihrer sprachlichen Fähigkeiten, ihres Wesens und ihres Engagements für die Teilnehmer, sondern auch weil sie meine Unternehmensphilosophie für Progressive English teilen:

An dieses Motto haben wir uns die letzten 5 Jahren gehalten, und ich habe mich und das Team jeden Tag gefragt, wie wir es noch besser machen können. Unser übergeordnetes Ziel ist Exzellenz, oder genauer gesagt, ständige Verbesserung, ein hervorragendes und sich ständig verbesserndes Unternehmen in jeder Hinsicht.

Travis has exceeded my expectations, and has given me much confidence in my verbal and written communications. When I moved to Zurich from Italy, I was looking for an English teacher because I needed to learn an international language for communicating in the new country. In addition, despite using my mother language during the clinical interviews, learning English was important for international works and collaborations. I had never studied systematically English, so I started from a low level. In a few months my English has improved a lot: I was very surprised about how I became able to write and speak English in formal and informal conversations, and now I am not afraid when another person doesn’t speak my language. I studied with Miles and I can tell that he is a very good teacher, capable of motivating me and reinforcing and supporting me in spite of my mistakes. At the start, I planned to study only two months, but, seeing the amazing results, after five months I still study with Progressive English!
